Battlefield 3 features a total of 12 weapon scopes and sights which can be unlocked and used on many weapons. The scopes and sights are split between the US and Russian factions, 5 for the US, 5 for Russia and two sights that are available to both sides (infrared and Ballistic scope). The sights and scopes vary from holographic sights, to infrared ones, to powerful, 12X ballistic scopes. Here’s the full list of scopes and sights in Battlefield 3:
ACOG
The ACOG is the first scope to be unlocked on many of the US assault and sniper rifles. It has a modest 4X zoom.
PSO-1
The PSO-1 is the Russian counterpart to the ACOG and offers similar 4X zoom.
Rifle Scope
The Rifle Scope is the standard scope on US sniper rifles.
PKS-07
The PKS-07 is the standard scope on all Russian sniper rifles.
M145
The M145 is a 3.4X magnification scope unlocked and used on US rifles and light machine guns.
PK-A
The PK-A is the Russian counterpart to the M145 and is used on Russian weapons.
EOtech
The EOtech is a holographic sight used on US weapons in Battlefield 3.
PK-AS
The PK-AS is a holographic sight used on Russian weapons in Battlefield 3.
RX01
The RX01 is a red dot sight in Battlefield 3 that can be unlocked for US weapons.
Kobra
The Kobra is a red dot sight and is the Russian counterpart for the US RX01 sight.
Infrared sight
The infrared sight makes it easier to spot enemies behind cover or in the dark.
Ballistic scope
The Ballistic scope is the most powerful scope in Battlefield 3, and offers 12X magnification.
